Surf Level 2, is a fun and dynamic course, as you are now starting to figure out boat directional control as the waves energy passes through, breaking out of the surf zone, and feeling free to move about in the surf zone.   A confident roll is very helpful in this training day.

Great pre-training for BCU 4 Star and or ACA Levels 4 and 5.

  Greg Paquin is an excellent instructor. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in becoming a better paddler. We covered a wide range of strokes for paddling forward, reverse and sideways (really). Greg emphasized effective use of edging and learning to "own" your strokes. Rescues, rolls and canoe skills rounded out a very full day. It was easy to see real improvement in everyone there. At the end of the day Greg said "so, do you want to do assessment?" Far from being intimidated, we were all pretty confident at that point. "Sure" was an easy answer. Thanks Greg! - Tim
